The Myra Tiffin Performing Arts School is a leading Milton Keynes performing arts school, known for its high standards, professional training and welcoming atmosphere. Based in our own fully equipped studios in Stony Stratford, we offer over 60 classes a week for all ages. Our classes range from Tiddlywinks for babies and toddlers to dance, singing, acting, acrobatics and aerial training for our 3-18 year olds, plus our new adult tap and ballet classes! Whether training for fun or aspiring to become a professional, MTPAS provides expert teaching and a clear progression for every performer.

Meet the Team

Our eleven faculty members are leaders in their professional fields and some known worldwide for their skills. We are very honoured to have such a prestigious team working to provide the best performing arts training for our aspiring pupils.

Founder and Principal

Myra Tiffin BEM FISTD

Myra trained at Bush Davies full-time for four years becoming head-girl for her final two years. Myra graduated with advanced exam success in ballet, tap and modern all with distinctions. Myra went straight into work at Oxford in pants and continued in the business dancing with Dougie Squires Second Generation and other dance groups appearing with Les Dawson, Roy Castle and John Inman. Myra was dance captain for the UK Tour of The New Rupert Show. On retiring from show business, Myra started teaching. Passing with distinctions in her teaching qualifications for modern and tap with the ISTD, she became a Fellow of the society and is now a Senior International examiner for modern and tap. Myra is also an examiner for the ISTD DDE, Licentiate and Fellowship qualifications. Myra was Chairman of the ISTD modern faculty for over 6 years and continues to travel widely around the world examining. Myra has also taught full-time students at vocational colleges leading guest lectures in many venues in the UK and overseas. Myra was awarded the British Empire Medal for services to the Arts and Young People in 2020.

Artistic Director

Rosina Andrews

Influenced by her time living in NYC, Rosina's work is fresh, current and unique. She has an infectious personality which drives and inspires all dancers and creatives that she works with. Rosina works with elite young dancers worldwide and is passionate about advancing technique alongside her teaching methods and Pirouette and Leap Surgery books. Rosina's work exudes originality and is internationally in demand. Rosina teaches at a range of schools and vocational colleges and teaches the children of MTPAS their professional level classes. She works closely alongside Myra with many of the school projects.
